ISACA Canberra former president and globally recognised leader in IT Audit

David Berkelmans is the Principal for Cyber and Technology Risk at Anchoram Consulting, bringing over 25 years of experience in IT audit and technology risk management. Throughout his career, he has focused on supporting government entities in effectively managing their digital and technology risks, with expertise spanning strategic IT internal controls, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and IT governance. David has held key roles with leading consulting firms in Canberra and gained a global perspective through his experience with Big 4 firms.

A globally recognised leader in his field, David is an active member of ISACA. He served on the Canberra Chapter board for 11 years, including a two-year term as Chapter President in 2014 and 2015. Since 2016, he has been a key participant in various global working groups and currently serves on both the ISACA International IT Audit Advisory Working Group and the Advanced in AI Auditing Certification Working Group.
