From Military to C-Suite: An Authority on Cyber Resilience
Malcolm's distinguished career spans both military and government service, retiring from the RNZAF to become the Director of Infosec for New Zealand's national information security program at GCSB. He subsequently held multiple CISO roles in the telecommunications sector for major companies like Telecom NZ, NBN Co, and Huawei Australia, and served as a Technical Director for CES Communications and BAE Systems.
An ISACA-certified auditor with a focus on AI, Malcolm has also consulted internationally, represented Australia and New Zealand at cybersecurity forums, and held board positions with AISA and the SABSA Institute. In the academic sphere, he has developed and taught cybersecurity curricula at both Canterbury and Deakin Universities, published research, and authored numerous online courses for platforms like Linkedin Learning and Offsec.
